The Director/Sr. Director of Communications & Project Management leads franchisee, internal, and external communications across all WellBiz brands, ensuring consistent, transparent, and timely messaging to franchisees, employees, industry partners, and consumers. Own franchisee communications strategy and execution, oversee crisis and PR management (including media relations, legallyapproved reactive statements, and reputation protection),
drive crossfunctional coordination, and provide project management oversight for the Marketing organization.

Compensation Range: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00. Offers to select candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
Salary ranges reflect Colorado disclosure requirements. Compensation may vary by geographic location for candidates working outside Colorado.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute franchisee communications strategy across all brands, aligned to company priorities and change initiatives.
- Maintain and manage a comprehensive communications calendar and governance/intake processes (company, brand, operational).
- Serve as the crossfunctional communications lead, coordinating messaging and deliverables with Marketing, Operations, Training, Technology, Legal, and Finance.
- Represent communications in highstakes settings with a strong, confident executive presence (e.g., conferences, stakeholder briefings); serve as a trusted point of contact for the CEO and senior leaders.
- Lead franchisee facing communications: weekly/biweekly emails, messaging standards, content intake, approval workflows, and maintain the franchisee resource center/repository.
- Own franchisee webinar strategy and execution (scheduling, promotion, RSVP management, content, followup) and support the Franchise Advisory Council (agendas, facilitation logistics, recaps, and repository management) in partnership with Brand Directors.
- Lead crisis communications: develop and maintain crisis plans, legallyapproved reactive statements, monitoring, and rapid response; coordinate internal and external stakeholders to protect reputation.
- Oversee PR and media relations as needed: draft press releases/statements, prepare media briefing packets, and engage external agencies on a project basis.
- Lead executive positioning and visibility as needed: craft executive messaging, opeds, leader scripting/talking points, ELT interview prep, and thoughtleadership positioning.
- Partner with Brand Directors to support consumer PR outreach for partnerships or brand activations when assigned.
- Provide project management oversight for Marketing communications programs; set priorities, timelines, budgets, and KPIs for crossfunctional initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor a Project Manager/Communications Manager (direct report) responsible for daytoday program execution, vendor coordination, and timeline management.
- Supervise two Creative Managers; prioritize and allocate their work in partnership with the Project/Communications Manager to ensure ontime delivery of decks, internal materials, and campaign assets.
- Ensure creative output (presentations, internal decks, visual assets) meets executivequality standards and aligns with communications strategy.
- Monitor communications effectiveness, analyze metrics, and drive process improvements, templates, and operational consistency.
- Manage vendor and agency relationships related to communications, PR, and events.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the communications team; set objectives, KPIs, and performance expectations.
Essential Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- 6–10+ years in internal, franchisee, corporate, or integrated communications with media relations, PR, or crisis management experience.
- Proven ability to manage crossfunctional communications in a multibrand environment and to present to executive leadership.
- Proven strong executive presence and poise under pressure; comfortable speaking in media settings and interfacing with the CEO and ELT on a daily basis.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a demonstrated bias for errorfree, executivequality writing and review.
- People management experience, including supervising project or communications managers and creative managers.
- Experience managing creative teams or managers and balancing creative resourcing across competing priorities.
- Strong command of executive presentation development (PowerPoint/Google Slides) and a proven track record delivering highquality internal/external decks.
- Strong project management skills and experience overseeing multistakeholder programs, budgets, and vendors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience drafting press releases, executive scripts, media briefing materials, and thought leadership content.
- Experience with conference/event planning and agency/vendor management preferred.
